Installations
I draw inspiration from science, nature, and technology. It is my goal to conceptualize works that act as bridges between these complex and interwoven disciplines, while putting emphasis on the importance of connectivity through an authentic interactive and multi-sensory experience.
Works for Walls
Layers of misted metallic and bright colored paint transform brown paper, making it the infrastructure for cut patterns reflective of microcosms and biological forms. Freehand cuts are slowly made into its surface, until the ordinary paper takes on the innate organic qualities of specimens pressed between glass slides under the lens of a microscope.
Commissions
Meredith has experience working with private, corporate, and non-profit clients to create works of art that meet their specific interests and budget. She enjoys the collaborative nature of these projects, and the lasting relationships that result from them.
